I am proud to serve as the District 2 Supervisor on the Monterey County Board of Supervisors, representing North Monterey County and parts of Salinas. My work is rooted in respect for working people, those who keep our communities running, raise families here, and depend on the land, the coast, and local jobs for their livelihoods.

I believe county government should expand opportunity, not stand in its way. That means supporting small businesses and agriculture, protecting rural life from one-size-fits-all policies, and making sure economic growth benefits the people who already call this place home while protecting our beautiful environment.

Transparency and accessibility are not slogans. They are obligations. Over the past three years, I have held more than three dozen community meetings and town halls across the district, meeting people where they live and work, listening directly, and bringing those voices into county decision-making. Government works best when it is present, accountable, and open, and that is the standard I will continue to bring to this office.
